What are we doing in Music class now?

Kindergarten-Introducing Steady Beat and Rhythm
1st grade-creating our own Phrase Rhythm picture cards and studying Melodic Contour
2nd grade-learning about Gregorian Chants and composing our own in pairs
3rd grade - Learning about Theme and Variation form & Ballads; T&V Project
4th grade - conducting and the history of our National Anthem
5th grade - History of Ballet and the Nutcracker

Look for work and papers going home!

Let the fall/holiday season begin!

    Rumor has it your curriculum also consists of informing 4th graders there is no Santa. Is this correct?

      I am so incredibly sorry that I have seen this now (May 2015).
      Being that this happened 6 years ago, I am hoping that it is behind you. I am not a perfect person, and make mistakes. Apparently you have attained a level of perfection that I will never achieve. Alas, I keep on growing and learning and (hopefully) working to make myself a better person.
